I never once felt like that with Joel. He even came to his office one Saturday morning and spoke to my sons about the difficulty of divorce. He told them that they needed to know what was going on and have a say in the matter where it concerned them. I was especially happy and relieved that he took the time to do that. He was irrational and vindictive [no surprise there -- that was largely why I split from him in the first place]. Mr. Farkas was an absolute god-send. He knew how to calm my nerves and, ultimately, he knew exactly how to deal with my ex-partner. I was resigned to taking a big financial hit, but I came out of this almost entirely unscathed.
